Water Main Issues
Hello CWPOA Members it's been a while since I've added to our blog - the holidays and year-end activities, in addition to preparing for our annual meeting have kept me very busy. While there are a number of topics that I'd like to share through this blog, in time, a pressing issue is the consistent water main issues our neighborhood has been experiencing, as a result of its aging infrastructure. Most recently there was a leak south of our main entrance next to our fence, right off of County Line Road. Prior to this incident, at the holidays no less, several of our neighbors also struggled with flooding due to multiple instances of leaks and many experienced low water pressure as a result. As a board we will work to be more engaged with the Village of Burr Ridge in promoting the interests of our community in improving the infrastructure, but we need the support of all of our neighbors. I will keep us posted here and in written communications on how we may achieve our objectives. I welcome your thoughts and responses to this post, as it may help inform some of the dialogue we have with the village representatives and officials on this important topic.
